The Extra Mile

Head down,

Eyes up.

Awaiting the signal,

to pass life by.

That rush,

When we let everything go.

Flying free,

Showing what we have.

To every mile,

Every strid.

Running side-by-side,

Never feeling lost.

Compassion in our hearts,

Didication in our minds.

Til the very end,

We will finish.

With a big smile,

and a family cheering us on.
