Extraordinary

Am I really a lie? Oh my.

I love myself, but am I just an old dusty book in the shelf?

I won't comply with society, but in turn they ask why.

But now it's time to assert my own self.

Now I can lift my head to the blue sky, with my joy so high.

In and of itself, I can love myself even more.

I run by my mind's eye.
