Extroverted Introverts
1000 thoughts
1000 lines
But most don't know what comes across
Our racing little minds
Quiet and to ourselves
Is what we do best
People might think we're shy
But We just have lost feelings that don't get expressed
We live in our heads
And ask ourselves why are you so damn quiet
We lye in our beds
And tell ourselves just talk for once, it won't cause a riot
We have so many things to say
But yet don't know how to say them
We have so many emotions to convey
But yet don't know how to portray them
I want to talk
I want to be engaging
Although it's as if my lips are locked
And the resilience inside me is blazing
Yes I know I need to work on that
I know I need to change
I guess I need to step out of my comfort zone
And widened my range
But They always said that she'd grow out of it
It's just a phase
But when their words became null
Just a phase transformed into many months and many days
So she lived her life
Full of worries and regrets
And never moved on
From that hushed little mindset
Love,
Alexis Holt
