The Eye

This misty sphere perceives all, its depths mysterious to me. It glistens like a waterfall, so beautiful to see. It's sensitive to every light, it follows me around. It can reveal true love or fright, yet cannot detect sound. Your eyes gaze into my soul, they speak without a word. Your pupils whisper, black as coal; their message not unheard. Their language is so soft and sweet, yet pierces through my heart. I try to speak of my feelings for you, but don't know where to start. There is more than one way to let true love show, letting silence do its share, Because your eyes let me know how much you really care.
