In The Eye Of The Beholder

Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder I tried to hold her closer Without tipping her over Over The course of an upcoming two years You've become one of my worse fears While Tryna impress and caress you after confessing what we should do You seem congested and contested our future I knew A new thought in your head could possibly come true But you Weren't thinking the same way I told you everyday Since you were in ninth grade What I saw was beauty from the outside in I tried to vocalize it while socializing and sometimes vocalizing songs You thought I was stunting Cuz I'm usually leading girls on But I wasn't fronting You thought all I wanted was to get in yo" thong I didn't I only wanted to stay in your heart and belong To something more I adore Every pore From head to toe Cuticle to cuticle you're beautiful I swear I don't know what happened to us I find myself stuck FUCK I just can't seem to get enough Of this pain Hearing your name I'm going insane I just tried to text you but the sight of even your contact Made me depressed I swear I'm going through some internal combat Because this conflict between what I think we should be And what we really are is killing me Maliciously If I could only let you see through my eyes And feel through my heart Even though sometimes it's hard to find If you could only recognize How much time it takes to be this desperate for your attention Not to mention the tension of my muscles makes talking to you some kind of struggle If you could only feel how I feel You'd know how it feels to feel a heart broken Uneven and outspoken Still if you called I'd treat you like my newborn child awoken You're my Willy Wonka Golden ticket Or more like the apple pie of my eye But no matter what I say you are You're far away from what I think in dream But since I'm the one preaching about all of your beauty to behold I'll just sit here in my sadness My true feelings I'll withhold
