EYE DREAMS

My dreams turn into reality because of determination, Thinking about how my dreams turn into success not frustration, My dreams at the tip of my pen, Writing the words from my heart so l hope you listen, Who can I tell the rest to? My dreams are on my mind and failures hit hard my chest, Everyone around me try to down my mental, Black, educated so I’m dangerous, Obama brown so white folks keep me around, The world says I’m not smart enough, black enough, white enough, At the end of the day I’m strong enough, wise enough But I’m “ME” enough with my EYE dreams…
