Eye2Eye

Instead of talking to you I have no other choice but to write to you .

Maybe I'm writing something that you will never read or maybe I'm writing something that you can't stand to read .

I know the mark we left on each other you didn't want to leave and that's okay I understand .

I'm not saying I regret what we did because I didn't because that's the first time in a long time I actually liked the tension that I was given .

The first time I didn't look at myself in the mirror and feel disgusted with myself because I gave myself up .

I've always loved you deep and I guess I saw my chance to love you deeper so I just went for it .

Only because everyone you wanted to love you didn't love you deep enough for me but I knew I could .

I knew that I could love you so rawly with as much emotion and still have things polished.

I knew that I could love you enough to not care for the amount of money that was in your wallet.

I knew I could love you for all your tattoos even the ones you can't explain .

I knew I could let you love me physically even when it went unsaid .

You said I'd always have you but you’re  pushing me away because you refuse to see eye to eye because the way our bodies caved .

You know that you could love me and you know that I can love you too but I’ll let it all be a mystery because I love you .

Déjà vu to the way things use to be.
