Eyes

They say that eyes are windows to the soul Her eyes, they draw you Like a moth to the flame They seem to promise you everything As though she knows what your soul craves Passion and desire, they are reflected from her eyes Yet they are so cold As though she takes for only her pleasure You know that you are being used But in the end just like the moth you can’t resist You fly too close to the sun and you burn But what a glorious heat it is
