Eyes

She looked into his eyes

She saw his soul

Old, broken and ripping at the seems

Yet buring bright as the stars

Lost in a sea of darkness and despair

Looking for an outlet out of all the hate and violence

In a constant war with his own demons

His past was one he did not deserve

His childhood, unike others

Played with endless nightmares and unbeliveable suffering

Now a teenager he lives a ife of masked smiles and hidden pain

Yet he strives for a chance to makehis friends laugh

Through his past stays locked between space and time

Never to be seen by crippling judgmental humn eye ever again

She looked into his eyes

She saw his soul

All she saw was a beautiful worn out blanket and that needed mending

As she tried to mend his broken heart, she sobbed

For she could she herself in his wounds

In the sadness and hurt that darkned his soul

She cried cause she wanted him to be happy

He deserved happiness

As she looked into his eyes, She couldnt cotain her tears

She cringed at the sight of seeing him in pain

She then realize that she had fallen for him

The girls with eyes as dark at night had fallen for the boy with the broken heart

Yet he loved another

A girl with eyes that shimmered in the sun

But a heart as deciving as a relflection in water

With sadness in her heart, she watched

As the shimmering eyes quickly ripped out the stiches

she had so hardly worked to put in

It killed her, yet she never let him see how much she was dying

The cracks in his mask became bigger each day

His true agony egan to spill through

and his smiles slowly disappered into the darkness

She knew that he deserved to be loved unconditionally

But she knew that she couldnt do anything to help

She became his friend to cease the pain

So, she died everyday as they crossed paths

But it didnt matter as long as he was happy

She looked into his eyes and he looked into hers

All they did was gaze

Deeply into dark eyes

Trying to decipher te myster....

Each other.
