eyes

why i write? cuz no one hears. voices bounce but print sticks, like lids on eyes, tar on roads. you know, i've discovered that ears don't hear. no one cares. but read this and you are stuck with black font burned into the film of your brain. so hear me with your eyes.

Beautiful.

I'm new to poetry but i love it all the same. Your poem pretty much sums up the effect poetry have on people. Poetry is sometimes stronger than the most inspirational speech. And the best thing about it is you don't even have to speak, just read.

Excellent
