THE EYES

They say the eyes are like windows to the soul, revealing one's true identity and secrets untold. Mere reflections of truth the eyes utter words one's mouth dare not speak, a forbidden and powerful fruit both bitter and sweet. It's funny those with perfect vision are still blind to what's real, and those with no vision can see what others feel. My heart wants to say things my mind won't allow, to say the stories my eyes tell i wish i knew how. Again, they say the eyes are like windows to the soul, revealing one's true identity and secrets untold.
