Eyes

Eyes open,

And Dawn breaks.

Crystalline blue,

The vast, eternal sky.

Sheer beauty,

In its icy chill.

Oceanic waves,

Ever powerful and strong.

Yet gentle,

Warm and cradling.

A mother's arms.

Sky meets Sea,

Great Love where they touch.

Endless, Everlasting,

As the horizon.
