Eyes

We live in a world of turmoil

Personal or otherwise

Yet we can truly see ourselves through our eyes

Words can hide everything

That is until you look

Look straight in someone's eyes

They never tell lies

Lies About

Who someone is

What they like

What they avoid at all chance of fate

What they wish no one knew

Not even themselves

The passion the live with for the world and themselves

It's not always bad

In fact some eyes are beautiful

Windows to the soul

A true glance of just them

Some just seem to draw you in

Welcome you to share everything

To Trust enough to let them in

Eyes are the windows

The keys

The place we can see and truly SEE

So next time you go to spout of a foul word

Look at the eyes and see what your words may mean

Find a friend in the truths of who someone is

Because eyes are the things that make memories
