Eyes

How?

How do I rid my mind of your presence?

You linger like the scent of incense, drifting through my thoughts.

Your damned eyes,

as turbulent as the angry sea,

a maelstrom of sadness and anger, worry and love,

pierce my soul like a poisoned dart.

I can never forget your wretched, beautiful eyes, and how they made my heart explode with the only feeling of love I could ever hope to have.

I was your sun, your moon, your stars.

You will forever remain my universe.
