Eyes
Some eyes are blue,
While others might be green or brown.
But hers,
They hold on to the pain.
The pain of almost not making it,
Making it to the life she wanted.
She almost lost two of her sons
In a terrible nightmare.
Now she lives
Thinking about their lives.
Let us think
At least for a minute.
This could be you
One day.
What would you want people to do for you?
