Eyes are opened

Who knows when will be our last day?

When the beautiful and ugly things in life fade away

like salt dissolving in water.

Will Mom and Dad say "Love is what I taught her"?

Feel  the strain of love,

one that rises above

fear and shall outlast faith-

the inevitable assurance of something to be,

can be heard, felt, and tasted- not seen.

Only three things man needs to survuve each day:

One sharp mind, water, and food.

All else is preference which can control one's mood.

Look on your own life for a moment.

Do you see, feel, hear anything that needs to be stripped off

so you can fly as the painted bird by Van Gogh,

unbounded,

liberated,

focused,

to yourself only adjusted.

When will you fly  to the next blue mountain

and have light pour from Life's fountain?
