The eyes of a child

Laying in the grass watching all the shapes of the clouds She sees elephants She runs and plays, and laughs, and smiles The child has come across a man he smiles, she smiles she talks and tells him about her day Walking in the halls She looks at the ground no one to look at or trust she grabs her bag fast ready to leave the school She's marked for life and destined to hate life 15 year old Barbara has two kids does drugs "i don't care" she says since ten years ago that man took the eyes of a child away
