Eyes of God

I walked the moon in my suede shoes

felt the sky in my hands

Id be open with god's eye

Till I fall into the blue and lose

Months crossed my mind

How I would sin in your eyes

As I walked the path of a girl with lies

My heart hurt and I was torn

Why be in a world not kind?

Drowned in my room

Stayed with the moon

Heard the voice of happiness

Would I be happy soon?

Well I finally told myself "care not"

Live in harmony with the eyes

The hopeful eyes you were given

Love as you do but not as you were not
