EYES ON THE HORIZON

Walk next to me my mom would always say

I will help you find your way

But now, I am all grown up and I fear to do things alone I say

Meeting new people, exploring new ideas, and leading the way

Scares me in many different ways

But there is a plan for me He says

Do not look to the right or to the left but straight up ahead He says

Look to the horizon because I will lead your way

I have overcome fear by trusting His way

My eyes would only see insecurity blocking my way

Now I laugh at the future because I look at the horizon

And there is my Stronghold that sets my fear free.
