Eyes Open
Open your eyes, you see hate, regret, and ugliness
Three words have destroyed me and everything around me
I walk down the hall, wanted someone to notice me, to give me the chance to see me with their eyes closed
Close my eyes, you see love, selfless actions, and gratitude
It’s always harder to see the good in ourself instead of the bad
I go through the halls wanting to be the greatest person I can be, but my demons are always trying to hold me back
There is nothing greater then feeling the sensation of love through yourself instead of receiving it
Love is all I want to see in myself, but I have to flight through demons trying to make me selfish and trying to make me make bad choices
The bad choices are the ones that make you feel at worst, the ones that make you feel there is no such thing as love
Love, Love, Love, and more Love!
Love is how I see myself because it’s all I want to give and see in me
At one point hate is all I saw in me with all the self hurt, and the self sabotaging
I saw myself get thrown to the ground, and get beat up by life, because it all just doesn’t seem worth it anymore until someone reaches their hand out to you
This hand is the hand giving me another chance to be the person I can be
See we all learn at a different pace, and we all make mistakes but what counts is what we take from those mistakes
I fought back my demons by learning and giving myself a second chance to live, love and gratitude
Love, love, Love and more Love!
See we are who we make ourselves seen
In life we get what we take out
