Eyes of Yours

I look into your eyes that shine ever so bright yet dim

I see the warmth yet coldness of your eyes

The heavenly constellations of the night

Your smile that reassures

Yet spiteful all the same

Carry the burden of the past on your shoulders

Yet you do not falter

You give while you take away

Your words give hope and faith

Wishing for the new day that passes by ever so

Your eyes that burn with a passion

Your words brimming with hope

Your shoulders that carry a burden

Your smile that gives joy to those you care for

Those eyes that view the universe

Solely for yourself
