Face The Day

Where do people turn when there is no one there to listen

What do people do when life’s to hard to bare

Do they cry? Tears in their eyes glisten

Do they feel unloved? Does no one care?

Or are they off in space elsewhere

Are they angry are they sad

Lost a life they never had

Want to cry want to scream

Feel alone no self-esteem

I am still awaiting dawn

The nightmare continues on

To the rhythm of a song

Just wanting to belong

Oh please hear me

Listen to my voice this time

Oh please listen to me

I want to try

To live not die

Are they angry are they sad

Lost a life they never had

Want to cry want to scream

Feel alone no self-esteem

I am still awaiting dawn

The nightmare continues on

To the rhythm of a song

Just wanting to belong

Listen to my voice

You will make your choice

Decisions must be made

Either way I’ve been betrayed

All the things I want say

Never come out the right way

Time to face the day

Time to face the day

It’s time to face today
