Face to Face

Put aside the cell phone,

for a day, for a week.

Put aside the texting,

voice a poem, learn to speak.

Focus on the moment,

share it once, share it twice,

Face to face, without computer,

   Now wouldn't that be nice?

Albert Einstein once expressed it --

feared the future, feared the time

Science and Technology would

  cause social skills' decline.

I am no Albert Einstein,

   never was, never will be,

But seems to me that emails

are not who we should be!
