Face Him, Her, It

I close my eyes.

I see my family...my friends

I'm as happy as can be.

Run!

An unsettling feeling washes over me, and I cry out.

My eyes are open now, but there is no one around me.

Run!

I'm afraid.

Of what? I don't know.

But I have to...

Run!

I move so fast.

Everythings a blur.

I forget my shoes.

My feet bleed, but I can't stop.

Run!

I fall.

Just like that, I am bound to the ground.

I can't move.

Run!

I can't run. Something has me.

I shed tears but that's all I do.

Run!

I'm free.

No, wait it's still here.

Run!

Please Stop!

Run!

No enough!

I am done running.

I turn.

I face him, her, it.

It cowers.

I have the power.

Now it's they're turn to run.
