Face It

My skin glistening as the sun shines onto my skin.
The wind blows gently as if it were whispering into my soul.
I feel worn-out, tired and my body is in complete pain.
My legs feel as if thousand knives are cutting through my flesh.
The pain is there but what I have come for has a greater purpose.
As I push myself to run faster
I hope and pray those people I have loved remember me when I arrive
