The Face of Lies

Ever get that feeling?
The one where you can't shut your eyes?
For you know what lies behind.
Echos of broken promises
The hope of a sweet demise
You know it was all just lies
Ever fear what sleep can bring?
The haunting death ring
You know what happens
When you shut your eyes
The face of all the lies
Far to sweet
For you to scream
So you just lay there
With all those shattered dreams
No where to run
No where to go
So you just lay there
With absolutely no hope
So just shut your eyes
For no matter
You will always see
The face of lies
