She refuses to conform to society's "norm" of taking and posting the best selfies everyday. She prefers a simpler method of attention. One where she is heard with out the extra noise of make up and degrading apparel. She refuses to wear the mask that makes so many other girls feel vulnerable for the world to criticize. Her decision to keep a simplistic facade shows off her inner beauty, her uniqueness, that sets her apart from all the rest. She cares not for the filters that distort her already perfect complexion, but what the message of her picture is trying to convey. She wishes for her voice to be heard and nothing else.
