Facebook Friends

Why in the world would I add you as a Friend?

What are you trying to mend?

You deleted me

Just because we disagreed

My Pearls of wisdom are for my Facebook friends

not you, who was with me till the bitter end.

I'm not willing to pay your asking Price

I'm too afraid of the heights

you took me too.

it's too steep

you hurt me too deep.

I don't want to see your status

change from single to 'in a relationship'

or even just an acquaintanceship

we were on a hiatus

now i need a breathing apparatus.

But it I can't click that 'Not now' button

now when you want to, all of the sudden

talk to me again.

You are the ball and chain

that detains me

that pains me

I can't click that 'confirm' button either

and that fact cuts me like a cleaver.

I ignore it

I can't recommit

it maybe childish

but thats naivety at its wildest.
