Faces

Oh, the faces that stares back at me

not one or two or even three

So many faces within

A pleasant day with accomplishes made

makes a content face and the frowns fade

So many different faces within

Great summer day with sun no storm

will make a face of gentle warm

So many faces within

The lightning strikes and clouds appear

will spark a face of frightened fear

So many faces within

A slap to the cheek and a harsh word conveyed

will generate a bright red rage

So many faces within

A kiss goodnight and a realm of sweet dreams

will caress a face most serene

So many faces within
