The Facial Hair Snare

“What’s that on your face?’

You say that it’s hair.

I laugh and reply,

“You look like a bear!”

We go show you mother.

She gets quite the scare.

You say, “Can you guess?”

“It was all for a dare.”

She groans and she tells you,

“I really don’t care.”

“You’ll do what I say

and shave your face bare.”

Instead you put gel in,

to give it some flare.

We walk down the street

and I watch people stare.

Then I see one man,

Standing way over there.

He stood and he looked

and he gave you a glare.

The next time I saw him,

when he came out for some air.

He was caught in a trap,

in the facial hair snare.
