facing the day

I put on my best brave face

As I try to hide

That I am breaking inside

People wouldn’t understand

What I’m going through

Will I ever not feel blue?

Appearing to be strong

I wear a façade

Asked if I’m alright, I'll nod

I can’t keep living this lie

I wait for the day

When the pain will go away
