Facing the Future

Hiding inside

What we already know

Avoiding the truth

Not wanting it to show

Have you ever felt so lost?

Wanting to just let go?

Conscience of appearance

Hoping their eyes find others

Avoiding judgment with large crowds

Like being blinded by a shutter

Have you ever felt so lost?

Wanting the help of another?

Holding on to what I know

But not knowing if it is right

Being told it is ok to be different

Yet having to fight the law with all my might

Have you ever felt so lost?

Wanting a simple right?

So to you I confess

I am one big mess

But when we are together

You bring out my best

Have you ever felt so lost?

Wanting your heart to explode in your chest?

Do you know what I feel?

Do you know what I think?

Does our sexuality

Stand between our link?

Have you ever felt so lost?

Wanting things to change in a blink?
