Fade.

Have you ever imagined finding someone so perfectly to fit into your life?

Someone that gave so much effort, it felt like you weren't giving any?

Someone so patient and loving and kind that you felt like you didn't deserve them?

And then in an instant, it all faded away like it never existed?

Y'all know everything I write about is something I'm going through or already been through.

It feels like I'm rewriting the same story multiple times in a million different ways because I'm always seeing the love story from a different perspective.

The emotions left a scar on my heart and the memories never fade.

I believe I can describe so many different perspectives because fucking with this one person for a really long time... you saw so many different sides; you couldn't tell which one was really him.

One day, he was a sweetheart.

The next day, a drug dealer.

The next, a liar.

The next, a cheater.

All different personalities in one body.

And most of those personalities, I wanted nothing to do with.

The world is already dangerous enough with the crime and the adversity, the racism, our political stance as a country.

Keeping all of this in mind, could you ever really forget what he really is or did you ignore it?

Sure, things would be good one day but the next, he pulls a 360?

You want so bad to forget it, to let every single one of these bad personalities and memories fade.

But, we're talking about who someone is, how they don't identify themselves but what they are perceived to be.

You can only see it if you're not blindsided.

And if you don't decide to ignore the signs, you're forced to leave because tolerating someone or something that you don't want to tolerate only makes you feel obligated.

And as I've said before, we are not obligated to anyone.

But that fact can fade away easily if you're in love.
