Faded Away

Girl you're a cute one, a quiet one The one I really really want one I was lovin' you from a far But I stepped in to feel that fire January's never been so hot Till I shot the question... Damn, I was sitting in the snow at camelot. - Girl, you were the one I had my eyes on. You were the one I wanted to be with all night long. But you knocked me down And the ref counted one. I got back up behimd your blaze,.embarrased by your gaze. And before I knew it, you faded away - Babe, we talked all summer and I knew school would be a bummer But I had to try one more time Not realizing how blind I was by the light of the fire. My heart beat so hard that August night The music messed with my head You laughed as my feelings just bled. - Girl, you were the one I had my eyes on. You were the one I wanted all night long. But you knocked me down And the ref counted two I got back up standing behind your blaze Embarrased by your gaze And before I knew it, you faded away. - December's come, Christmas gone Now I'm thinking what I was thinking was wrong As I sit here, playing my guitar, writing this song I think about you and think how long I tried for your heart because - Girl, you eere the one I had my eyes on. You were the one I wanted to be with all night long You were the one that nearly knocked me out You were the one I wish I was with now Bit before I knew it, Your blaze, your gaze, Just faded away. Yeah girl, you faded away.
