FADED LOVE OF LONG AGO
Faded Love Of Long Ago
You call me in my sleep ,
You call me from far and you touched my heart
your voice is music to my ears ,
The imperfection that you are you have my heart,
When you cry out with truth of your love from heaven above
My heart completely skip a bet ,
Your love is what I had always dreamed of ,
But then time came in and your words started fading in my heart
You started becoming controlling with your age ,
Now all we do is battle who is right and who is wrong
The blaming games hove been going on a little to long ,
Know I just hang up the phone when you call ,
Imperfection is how God made me to don't you see what you are doing to me ?
What we had was a gift ,
But now that gift is all gone .
Your love was like a beautiful jewel to me with a beautiful shine .
But now that jewel don't shine no more and now the phone don't ring no more .
