Fading

Fields of corn

Sky of orange

looking out the window

as I look this is what I see:

Trees lined up like toy soldiers

The moon coming out from hiding

A cloudness sky and a dawning night

A pond surrounded by ducks and their kin

With wind and with shivers

They huddle into the abyss.
