Fading Dream

Every morning is a reminder

The sense of loss stares at me

When I close my eyes I see it

Maybe it was all just a dream.

The place I once loved left behind

Leaving me to feel empty.

Change can be hard it seems

but without change new dreams cannot be.

I must learn to let go of the past

let the past dream fade.

Turn a new page.
