Fads
What mind-numbing, idiotic thing are they going to come up with next?
In a few months or a year, it will be forgotten like all the rest
A horrible song, a challenge, a dance or a catchphrase
The fact that has even caught on at all has really got me amazed
What genius came up with all of this stupidity?
They are now laughing all the way to the bank because they just hit the lottery
This is really undeserved success and they really should give that money back
There is not an ounce of creativity in this, it is just another Fad
Fads, they will come and go, this much I know
Fads, not the creaton of a genius, just some lucky dope
Fads, they are as annoying as they are mind-numbing
Fads, get ready, because tomorrow, there will be another one coming
If you sit down and watch all of the old television shows
You wont know the Fad they are talking about because it is too old
Fads are used up and thrown away like a used tissue
The fact that they get so much attention is where I really take issue
Fads, oh why, oh why is this getting so much damn attention?
Fads, there will always be someone else that will give it a mention
Fads, they are a horrible part of the entertainment landscape
Fads, there is no use running because from them there is no escape
Fads, on the gullible and unwise, they will cash in
Fads, it’s like pulling a lever on a slot machine, three sevens and you win
Fads, I long for the day when the current one will go away
Fads, but another one will come along and take its place
