Faeger Blostma, Fine Flower
Fine flower, your petals pale pink,
I have become consumed with pain, pain and suffering.
Giver of happiness, healer of despair,
Look upon the world, wish for its wellness.
Our life-giver is fading, losing its lifeblood.
As the great fire-ball sets, you sleep in bliss.
The destroyers of happiness, surround us always.
But you sleep, you sleep in serenity.
One day you will leave, all your petals will wilt,
I will have broken my promise, my promise of protection.
If you fade, so will the suffering creatures.
Our surroundings, forever altered,
In the time of heat, harrow the living.
In the time of frost, harrow even the dead.
The nights, the nights become months,
The days, they become hours.
But you, diviner of kismet,
You persist, even as the life-sphere crumbles.
Fine flower, you have lost your charm.
The life-giver is gone, as is all beauty.
