A Failed Home

It was never meant to be healthy;

this

this wasn’t about wellness.

I never cared about self-betterment;

still don’t

never will.

You never understood what you were;

an escape

a magical wonderland.

You tried to fix me;

rebuild me

why?

Now you leave me incomplete;

mess of scattered puzzle pieces

where should I go now?

who should I turn to now?

what happened to your promises?

to fix me?

to help me?

to be with me?

to be

i think i’ll wait.

to be

for you.
