Failed Misanthropy (Part 4: Aralyn)


She riles.

She burns.

She commands.

She beguiles.

She bewilders.

She amazes 'cause thats just her style.

She amuses.

She peruses.

She enchants with her feminine wiles.

All in a days work,

she emotes dread,

fear,

solitude,

or excitement.

All in a day's work,

she commands respect and attention,

to laudable rounds of applause,

in case I forgot to mention.

T'would be trite to compare her hair

to the red-orange hues of a flame

though her prescence is as all-consuming.

Her green-eyed gaze so confident and piercing she thrusts herself upon the world sans shame.

She thinks she is best understood by the lights and the fame.

She is loathe to accept that it's okay if it hurts, 

She isn't the one to blame.
