Failed Misanthropy (Part 9: Garrett)
he's angry.
raging, fuming, smoking, nearly all the time.
he can't catch a break. Can't get it off his mind.
every action,
every person,
every thing,
always manages to piss him off.
he can't take it. He's always about to explode.
but, somehow, he keeps it together with his own secret code.
he listens to hard rock or edgy, angsty alternative music
some times it helps.
he's learned to control it all by himself.
so, yeah, he's like a typical, conflicted, teen but that doesn't mean his feelings aren't real.
chalk them up to hormones and immaturity, but to him, his world's imploding.
he just needs some space from the reality that is smothering him.
he just needs to find himself.
he just feels he should have one person who will listen.
all he really needs is to listen to his soul and not be bothered with anyone else.
he may not realize it, but this too shall pass.
anger is only chaotic passion but when focused can lead to unmitigated success.
