Failing Body

Young I am no more For I can not do What the young people do. For my body is failing. Failing, falling body, Why do you hurt me so? Failing. falling body, What is your will? Failing, falling body, Why cant I be young? My mind is young. My body old. My heart longs for youth. My body is my enemy. I wish for a day, a week, a year without pain. To run, to laugh, to play without fear of pain My mind is young. My body old. I am my own enemy.
