Failing to Flourish

i constanly find myself planting seeds in dead gardens

expecting a flower to grow

what i dont understanding is that the soil is dried out

the sun is hiding behind the clouds

and rainwater will never pour down

don't invest your energy inot mistaken beauty

that will never bloom

expecting a full grown flower above the surface

whne there aren't even roots.
