The Failure of My Pride

THE FAILURE OF MY PRIDE I’ve built a tower of clay. To look down on you all day For surely I am better Than you could be ever crack Deep down I know this is false My reas’ning melts as frozen malts Slowly my tower begins to crack Still I look on what you lack Crack! Burning Desire for success Cant be filled with something less Still it burns inside me daily Its satisfied in God only CRACK! There is a sound of a rumble My tower begins to crumble I built it so very high. But I jump out with a sigh BOOM My tall tower is fallen down I lay broken on the ground You call the Shepard to help I cant resist nor give yelp shhhhh A whisper A calm A Peace All that Humility bring
