Failure satire

Ecclesiastes 9:9 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Enjoy life with your beloved wife during all the days of your fleeting life
that God has given you on earth during all your fleeting days;
for that is your reward in life and in your burdensome work on earth.

Failure ... Satire

You’ll never know “Sweet peaches” that Life’s surely passing by

At a speed radically unnoticed now even by the best of us

Hanging on by the fingernails and just wondering: Why?

As others seem so strange in life and we’ll never be as thus

Drawing lines in imagination calling this a direction to go

Using the shock of our failures to overwrite our common sense

On soiled blankets deeply faded and acting like we don’t know

We impress and present our heartaches with a mindset that is dense

Offering a final product to others to keep them peaceful and warm

To bring comfort and understanding to the helpless without hope

With good intentions in our hearts, we provide much more harm

In a world that is degrading because of us being a bunch of dopes
