Fair Process

With the flash of a hand, And the snap of a wrist, We could make the world fair, Not even a cheat, Every opportunity would be decided without bias, No family member or friend gets a rare advantage, An intern is picked through careful deliberation, No ignoring a jock or even a loner, Each position is filled based on giving someone a chance, Not so the company can make some extra cash, The unexperienced need to have a fair shot at each possibility, No shunning them because they are still learning, Doing this will even out the power, And create more for those who grew up a class lower, We don’t want race to be an issue, And neither should economic status or even prior connections, All we want is to have a fair trial, Not to feel bummed because the person in charge does not want a youngster, So here forth we shall change the application process, And make it fair to those who apply, No matter how rich or poor, And no matter if you know them or not, Each individual will have an equal opportunity.
