Fairest

There it hangs on the wall

Her mirror, her greatest fear

She hates it, but she cannot stop

She glances

Then obsessively stares and scrutinizes

Crows feet faintly line her eyes, streaks of gray in thin hair

Lips creased and pencil thin

Lines around a mouth that has never laughed, She is

No longer the fairest

Mirror, Mirror on the wall

She already knows the answer

Before it leaves her lips

Flawless Snow White Skin

Thick, Silky Raven Hair

Blood red Lips

The fairest of them all

Once Upon A Time it was she.
