The Fairie

It was the day of the ball and poor Cindy was left home

She was cleaning and scrubbing and cooking too

But along can Fairy Godmother: Bibitty Boppity Boo!

Cindy was surprised at the grandness of her luck

To have a fairy who gave her so much hope and had so much spunk

Her dreadful dress turned into Sunday's best

Her pumpkin turned into a carriage

And by twelve she hoped she'd be on the road to marriage

Unbeknowst that Godmother had other plans

Cindy climbed into her carriage only to be trapped inside

Because before anything else the Godmother was a fairie

And mischeif was how she thrived
