Fairy Tale Purple

Bright

Sunny

Clean

Runny

It can be blinding, or it can be mellow.

The sun’s blissful, golden, daisy flower yellow.

Ambiguous

Changing

Cool

Exchanging

Washing upon the shores of my favorite place to heal.

The best mix of green and blue; iridescent ocean teal.

Angry

Lustful

Bold

Mistrustful

The sound of yelling, overlapping the out-bled

Solid, angry, about-to-kiss-her red.

Soft

Soaring

Common

Restoring

The lilacs on the side of my grandmothers thermal

Comforting, welcoming, fairy tale purple.

I am a long time writer, having being in some kind of writing since before high school. The things that I like to write are often very personal, and have a lot to do with battling out my inner monolgue, on paper. Sometimes I like to think that I'm writing to tell people exactly how I feel - something which is hard to do with simple words. Poetry specifically has been a powerful medium for me - people just listen to it more, and when you put a metaphor in a poem, people are more likely to wonder what it really means.
